George Slason, immigrant ancestor, came from England before 1637 and in 1642 he went to Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut.  In 1643 he was granted a house, lot, and 3 acres of land and was made a Freeholder.  He died feb 17, 1695, in Stamford.

The very early biography of George Slason, (Erroneously spelled Slawson) is
found in Vol. 4 of James Savage, "A Genealogical Dictionary of Early Settlers
of New England."   It shows 3 generations of those who came before 1695.
Records of descendants are found ion the Registrars office of Stamford, Connecticut and in histories of Stamford, Norwalk, and Norton, Connecticut.  They were principally farmers.

The records of the Royal Armory of England shows six coats of arms for the
