                   The Ancestral File lists the parents of Irene Howard as Robert Howard and Abigail Keith.  For various reasons, this link has been discounted,  (this link is a royal line).  The folloing information about the probable extension of this ancestry is from an Ancestry World Tree pedigree:
-There are only two HOWARD couples having children in Stafford, Tolland, CT, who could be Irene's parents. The first is Joseph HOWARD and Priscilla JONES. If Irene was born in Dec 1728, Priscilla would have been 47 at her birth. The second is Thomas HOWARD and Sarah STANDISH. Sarah would have been about 24. Robert HOWARD and Abigail KEITH are also given as her parents, which is discounted.
