                   Research Note:  There is some confusion about the spouses of Benjamin Heath.  Ancestral File lists Amy Hine as the mother of all children, though their marriage date is after the first two children are born, and her death date is listed as "Aft 1753", before three children were born.  On the converse, Amy Scripture was married to Benjamin Heath 10 May 1749, more than 9 months before the bith of the first child, and she dies less than two weeks after the birth of the last child.  Their son John Heath is listed as being married to Amy Hine also, which suggests that some name confusion has occurred.  All this evidence points to the conclusion that Amy Scripture is the mother of all of these children.  Further research in original records is recommended.
