                   The Pane-Joyce genealogy includes these research notes, and lists hannah as the daughter of Thomas Hatch and Lydia Gyles: Hannah Hatch. Born ca 1638 at Scituate, MA. Baptized on 14 Jun 1646 at the Second Church of Scituate. Hannah died aft 1662.  Hannah was brought for baptism by the Widow Hatch 14 Jun 1746 at Scituate. (Although Hannah is listed as the daughter of Elder William, this cannot be so.)  On 6 Dec 1658 Hannah married Samuel Utley, son of William Utley, at Scituate, MA. Born in 1622 at Thornewest, York, England. Samuel died at Scituate, MA, in 1662."The family [of Utley] soon disappears form our Records. It may be the same name as Uxley, early in Taunton."
