This story was told to me about "Uncle Gunnie" by Mike Guinn: It seems that Uncle Gunnie was a ladies man. When the men folk would leave their homes near California Hot Springs, and come to the FountainSprings area to harvest grain, "Uncle Gunnie" would visit the lonely wives. Well, the story goes, Uncle Gunnie got caught at this activity by persons unknown, murdered, cut into pieces, and fed to the hogs. End of story, and end of Uncle Gunnie.
