Another possibility to explore is a Rees Davies who took out a marriage license on 7 Apr 1733 in Carmarthen, Wales.  Jane Prosser is listed as the wife of Rees Davies in several sources; however, the marriage of this couple did not occur until 17 May 1740 in Glasbury, Brecon, Wales.  Jane Prosser cannot be ancestral.
