Henry L. Butler, 74, of 1207 Maple Avenue, died at 4:35 this morning at the Fairview Hospital after being in failing health for a year. He was born to John and Lena Butler on June 22, 1882, in Chicago, and lived in LaPorte for three years, coming here from Bridgman, Mich. On June 7, 1917, in St. Joseph, Mich., he was married to Hazel Anderson, who survives. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Other Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Woolston, Canton, O., and Mrs. Ellen Todd, Fr. Madison, Ia. One brother, Edward Dorsey, of Chicago, died earlier this week. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Otto E. Glese Funeral Home with burial in Pine Lake cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Monday morning until the time of the services.
