From records that Donald W Waldrop, Sr has sent me I find that yourSarah is the dau of Davi d Waldrop and Nancy Davenport. According to hisinformation which is documented quite well, you are my cousin throughboth the Waldrops and the Davenports. We are both descendents of LukeWaldrop Sr m. Christian (Trevillian?).
From a book titled "Bicentennial History of Newberry Co" at the ClaytonLibrary in Housto n I have found some info on the Davenports. Nanc'sfather was Frances or Francis Davenport (1718-1803). Frances is said tohave come to Newberry County South Carolina from VA via NC. He married 1. Miss ?Pressley and m. 2nd Mary Turner. Through the first marriage he had 11children including Nancy.
My gt gt gt gt grandfather, Hezekiah Parrish Waldrop m. Nancy's sister,Martha Patsey Davenp ort. Hezekiah is your David's first cousin.
I am including some info that came from Donald Waldrop's records:
