                   Mentioned in the Trinity Term 1297 of County Kent, in a Placita coram Rege Roll 25, EDw. 1.  Other references in old manuscripts prove that he lived in Beverly, East Riding, Yorkshire, and that the place was known as Wodemanse (now Woodmansey) near Beverly.  He possessed rent of land worth 2s. 6d.
