                   SHORT HISTORY:  Born, raised and educated through the 8th grade in Park Valley, UT. Attended high school in Brigham City, UT.  This is where she made her first home after marrying Leo Meacham, also of Park Valley. They were living here when their first child was born. Leo worked some for his father-in-law and for others, mainly with cattle and horses. About mid-1930's Leo started working for his brother-in-law Arch Rose at the Sinks near Snowville, UT. They stayed there until about 1942 when they moved to Brigham City, UT and Leo took a Job at the Ogden Millitary Supply Depot. This became their home for the rest of their lives, but not in the same house. A new brick home was built on the southwest edge of town, near the new high school. Elsie, was a disciplined person very supportive of her husband and children; a good worker and clean housekeeper. She helped with outside chores when needed. She had more of the disposition of her father than her mother; had a good mind with a sence of humor. She helped her father with his business papers for many years. Their families all seemed to gather there when in town.

CHURCH SERVICE:  Always active in the LDS Church and supportive of its programs. Served as a temple worker in the Ogden Temple for many years.
