Eliezer JAMES

                   NAME:
    Eliezer aka Ellie
SHORT HISTORY:  Born in E.T. (Ettie or Lake Point), Tooele, Utah, where he lived until his father died in 1880. He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, with his mother and lived there until she died in 1885. He was 14 and went to stay with his older sister Hattie Yates in Park Valley, Utah. Here he met and married Louisa Jane Chadwick, a sister to his brother Tom's wife. He became a sheepman and ranched there until after David, their youngest child, was born in 1897. From here he moved to Ogden and run his sheep on a small farm in Huntsville, Utah, east of Ogden and then in Bridger Valley, Wyoming. In later years he became ill and was confined in the mental hospital in Provo, Utah. But he escaped and died of exposure at age 54. The first two children died of heart attacks at early ages, 23 and 18. Louisa (Lizzie) died of breast cancer. Effie had a daughter, Bernice, before she died.
