"Our Mother, Mary Schubert, Wwas the daughter of Herman and AMelia Schubert, neighbors to my father, my mother was born in Saxony Germany in 1873. She was eight years old when they came to America. After coming to Medford, they took homestead in the town of Chelsea. The Wildwood Supper Club is now located on that land. Later they moved to the town of Medford across from the anderson School. Dist 2.
My mother had foiur sisters, namely Emma, (Mrs. August Roeber): Hedwig' Martha, (Mrs. Albert Strochen); Elsa, (Mrs. Peter Federspiel) and six brothers; Otto, Richard, Alfed, Theodore, William and Paul.
