William appears in the 1810 and 1820 Cumberland County, Kentucky Census.  He lived on the banks of the Ill - Will Creek.  In 1806, he has 100 acres on Sulpher Lick by Obey.  He and wife, Polly, sold land in Cumberland County to Warren Sams in 1813/14.  He is a listed member of Sinking Springs Baptist Church in 1805, and later is a clerk of the Church.
