Charles Gustof ALLEN

                   Note:
1. His original name was Carl Gustavis AXELSON.  (one record shows his name was ANDERSON).
      Whose name was anglicized to  Charles Gustof ALLEN
2. He migrated to Rocky Ford, Illinois in 1868. he was married the following year to Matilda Peterson, a     Swedish school teacher.
3. They moved to North Topeka in 1870, settling that spring next door to the home of future U. S. Vice     President, Charles Curtis and his grandmother.  At the time he was only ten years old and delivered milk ans eggs to the Allens.
