BIRTH: DAR application of Earline West Larson sent to Norma Pugmire from
Ashley West Moen, granddaughter of Leo West. Birth date could be 9-7-1863 or
4-7-1863. The 9 looks like it has been corrected to a 4. His funeral program
has his date of birth as April 7, 1863.
DEATH: DAR application of above and funeral program. Funeral program gave
his name as Johnathan Douglass West.
Pern Clifton, my dad, thought that, John, could see into the future and Dad
remembers that one came true. He conducted seances according to my Dad.
Carmelita says that it was her grandmother that could see into the future and
it passed on down to her daughter, Carma and then to Carmelita.

Information probably from Earl or Helen West. Maud or Maude, not sure of
spelling. Also last name is Veale or Veal. She was 30 years old either when
Earl was born or when she married. John West was 49 years old. She married
Henry Martens also and had two sons by that marriage. Helen said that
she would not allow anyone to talk about John West or the past after he died
so they didn't know much about their family on their father's side. They were divorced. Information from Carmelita indicates that name is Maud Veal and that her mothers name was M Letitia Veal. On that sheet also is a name of Della Veale with a date of 1786 with two question marks by it. Also a name of Aunt Doll over 90. Place of birth was on Carma West's birth certificate. Date of death was on family sheet in file under John West. Birth Certificate of Earl Enoch West in file of Norma Pugmire. Father is stated as John Douglass West and Mother was Maude L. Veale. Father was 49 years old at birth of Earl and she was 30 years of age.

Information from Helen West, wife of Earl in letter dated 1992. Letter is in
files of Norma Pugmire. His first wife Edith died. His second wife's name was
Rose. In 1992 she was living and in Bixby, OK.
He had a son, Allen West, P. O. Box 310, Catoosa, OK. Allen had a son,
Douglas West and daughter Ashley West address Catoosa, OK. Information on a
family sheet from Carmelita Weston would indicate that he died 9-23-84 in Tulsa.

867 N. Lamb #171, Las Vegas, Nevada 89110. Phone 702-438-5221. Discrepancy on
birth date. Her death certificate with George Tison, surviving spouse, giving
the information says she was born on 11-6-1900. Her delayed certificate
of birth, dated 4-19-66 gives her date of birth as 11-8-1900. Carma signed
that certificate saying it was correct. She gave the county as Pottawattamie
instead of Harrison. Harrison was the original county. Her death certificate
says she was born in Utah, her birth certificate says she was born in Modale,
Iowa. Copies of both certificates are in the files of Norma Pugmire, sent
by Carmelita Weston. Carmelita confirmed that her mother was born in Modale.

or Cedar Rapids. According to an application by his daughter Earline to the
Daughter's of the American Revolution, Earl was born in Council Bluffs. I got
the DAR application from a granddaughter of Leo West, Ashley West Moen.
