BIRTH: as researched by Don Hawkley, Thomas John family genealogist,  1851 & 1861 Censuses of Roch, Pembrokshire, Wales, FHL, film  F # 0104256 & 0543244.  The ages in each of the censuses from 1841 thru 1871 indicate the birthdate of 1793.  The birthpalce is given as Brawdy on the 1851 and 1861 censuses and Roch on the 1871.

MARRIAGE:  Info from copy of original marriage certificate.  William-shoemaker, Lettice Phillip-spinster.  Thos. Williams, Vicar of LLandeloy, in the presence of James John and William Thomas.

CHILDREN: His marriage to Jane Green had no children, but in searching the Logan Temple records I found that Jane Green and Thomas John had two boys sealed to them, possibly from a previous marraige.  Logan Temple Records, 1884-1891, film # 0178087, Book A, children sealed to parents, pg 213, with Robert Angus Bain acting for children.(Salt Lake Family History Library, October 11 2002).
