BIRTH: as researched by Don Hawkley, Thomas John family genealogist,  1851 & 1861 Censuses of Roch, Pembrokshire, Wales, FHL, film  F # 0104256 & 0543244.  The ages in each of the censuses from 1841 thru 1871 indicate the birthdate of 1793.  The birthpalce is given as Brawdy on the 1851 and 1861 censuses and Roch on the 1871.

MARRIAGE:  Info from copy of original marriage certificate.  William-shoemaker, Lettice Phillip-spinster.  Thos. Williams, Vicar of LLandeloy, in the presence of James John and William Thomas.

DEATH:  Death Certificate-Civil Registration, FHC, London, England, EC1R UW.

4.  Correspondence with the vicar of Llanhowell with Llandeloy and Llanrheithan, 15 Sep 1952, "Daughter of William and Elizabeth Phillip baptized at Llandeloy 26th August 1792."  this is the onlyl christening listed for a daughter of this couple betweent 1790 and 1800;  it is therefore assusmed that this is the christening of Lettice.
