                   RESEARCH NOTE:  It appears that there is a Susan Catherine Hirtzell Lieb born 5 Mar 1739 in Lancaster, PA that is married to Sebastian Friedel Weigel that is often confused with our Catherine Lieb.  The two couples are listed with different children, and while the names appear similar, evidence suggests that they are different couples. Johannes Lieb, often listed as the father of Catherine Lieb, is the father of Susan Catherine Hirtzell Lieb and not the father of Catherine Lieb.
