BIOGRAPHY:  According to The Cram Sourcebook, Vol. II, p. 360, Geroge Sullivan (or Sanborn) Cram was a Lieutenant during the Civil War and died on the battle field at Chancellorville, Virgina on May 3, 1863.

The book "History of Meredith, NH" (p.841) notes he was appointed Orderly Sergeant on 9 Sep 1962 and promoted to Second Lieutenant on 6 Mar 1863.  He died in action one month later. He was buried at Meredith, NH.  The G.A.R. Post at Medredith was name for him.
