CURWENSVILLE - Mrs. Ella Maria Black, formerly of Curwensville, died Saturday, March 16, at 10:55 a.m. in the Philipsburg State Hospital at the age of 91.  A daughter of George and Elizabeth (Parks) Wisor, Mrs. Black was born at Stoneville, Pa., Mar 23, 1865.  She is survived by four children:  Mrs. Nora Thompson, Bigler; William Black, Franklin Grove, Ill; Dorsey Black, Curwensville and Raymond Black, Curwensville.  In addition, 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren survive.  Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband Isaac Black, her parents, six brothers and five sisters.  Funeral services will be held from the Lininger Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock with Rev. Clarence H. Hagmeir officiating.  Interment will follow in the Stoneville Cemetery.  Friends are being received at the funeral home until time of services.

Clyde LeRoy Black, aged 36 years, 8 months, and 28 days died rather suddenly Sunday evening, June 12th at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Thompson, in Pike township.  He was the eldest son of Isaac and Ella (Wisor) Black, this place, and was a veteran of the world war.  His funeral will be held on Wednesday, Rev. Bitner officiating.  Interment of body in Stoneville cemetery.

Raymond M. Black - Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. for Raymond Miles Black, 75, of 1 East Locust St., Clearfield.  The Rev. Dayle Dickey will officiate at the services in the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home at Curwensville and interment will be in the Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield County.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and until time of services tomorrow.  Mr. Black, a former Curwensville resident, was dead on arrival at the Clearfield Hospital Friday evening.  He was born at Bridgeport, Pike Township, Oct 6, 1899, a son of Isaac and Ella (Wisor) Black.  He served in the United States Army during World War II.  Surviving Mr. Black are a sister, Mrs. Nora Thompson Lockett of Clearfield and a number of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and on sister.
