Individual found on 1880 census for Lancaster, Butler Co, PA as wife of James Ruby.  Her age was 48.

                   We have his son being W. Scott Ruby (b. 1862) and we found W. Scott Ruby on the 1880 census, page 312-D.  On that census his father's birthplace was noted as MD and mother's as PA.  We also found daughter Mary J. Ruby living in the household of Rachel's second husband, Charles Peffer.  Again, her father's birth state is noted as MD.
                  

                   Individual found on the 1800 census for Lancaster, Butler Co, PA as wife to James S. Taggart. Also in household were C.E. Johnston, female-age 20, F.E. Kentnman, female-age 10, J.W.Emery, male-age 19, and Margarat Ruby, female-age 76, listed as mother-in-law to James Taggart.  The children are all listed as step daughters or son to James Taggart.

At the time of the 1910 Beaver Co, PA census: ED 0026 Visit 0017, Emily H. Lutz, age 67, was living with her daugther Sarah Louise (Lutz) Sandoe and son-in-law, John Wesley Sandoe.

Individual found through Scott and Kris Taggart, descendants of Mary Margaret (Ruby) Taggart with whom Margaret Ruby (b. about 1804-Maryland) lived as a widow.  Mary Margaret (Ruby) Taggart was the executor of Margaret Ruby's will.   Scott and Kris Taggart are in possession of William & Margaret Ruby's family bible, which states, contrary to the 1850 Census, that Emily H. Ruby and Robert Ruby were NOT twins.  She is listed as:  Emely H. Ruby, b. 1 Mar 1843, "our granddaughter that we raised."   The parents of Emely H. Ruby were not identified in the bible.  The only child of William and Margaret Ruby who would have been old enough would have been 14 year old daughter Henrietta.  After William's death, Emily, in fact, went to live with Henrietta (Ruby) who married a cousin, James Ruby, and Emily is recorded in Henrietta's family bible as well, not as a child, just as an additional name.

Individual found in correspondence dated 8 Nov 2002 received from the Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, PA 16037 as joining the church along with her husband, John, sons Joseph W., and Emmanuel on April 8, 1882.  Emmanuel and Joseph were confirmed on that day.  Sarah L. Lutz was confirmed a member on June 13, 1886.  Emily Lutz burial information is listed for the Zion Lutheran Church English Cemetery lot designation A-3, Z-S: Site #2.
