On the 1820 Federal census for Connoquenessing Twp, Butler Co, PA, William Ruby had living in his household: Males: 2 - from 0-10 years; 1 from 16-18 years; 1 from 16 to 26 years; 1 from 26 to 45 years and Females:  4 - from 0-10 years; 2 from 10-16 years; 1 from 26-45 years --- a total of 12 people.

Also listed on 1820 census are a Thomas Ruby with a household of two people, male and female 45 years or older;  and a Caleb Ruby with a household of seven people (3 males; 4 females).

Upon visiting the Butler County Courthouse in October 2002, the will mentioned above could not be found.  That information was obtained in notes posted at various message boards on the internet.  The clerk of the court did state that there were some records that disappeared, were microfiched again, and disappeared again and now the originals can not be located.  Perhaps those missing documents also include this will that has been mentioned on the internet.
