In memory of our dear wife and mother, Mrs. Nettie Duke, who died 25 years ago, May 10, 1916.
May brings sad memories
More and more each day we miss her.
Friends may think the wound is healded,
But they little know the sorrow
Lies within our hearts concealed.
Sadly missed by Ashley Duke and Children

In loving memory of our dear Brother, Husband and Father, Edward Duke.
Four lonely years have passed away since our great sorrow fell.
The shock we received that night we still remember well.
Midnight stars are gleaming on a lonely grave where he's sleeping but not dreaming.
He's the one we could not save.
He little thought when leaving home that night that he would not return.
And in his death so soon would sleep and leave us here to mourn.
We did not know the pain he bore although we did not see him die
The saddest part of all we could not say "Good-bye"
God gave us courage to face the shock and strength to face the blow
But what it means to miss him God will only know.
Some may think we have forgotten when they see us smile
But little know the heartaches that lie hidden all the while
Sad and lonely are the hearts of those who loved him best.
Sisters, Brothers, Wife and Children.
