FORMER CITIZEN DEAD - David S. Soult Died in Meadville of Acute Indigestion - David S. Soult, a former resident of Clearfield, died in Meadville on last Thursday.  Mr. Soult resided at Greenville, but had been on a visit to Cleveland and was on his way home when he was taken ill at Meadville, acute indigestion being the cause of his death.  He was found dead in his bed at the hotel in Meadville at 6 oclock in the morning.  His family had the remains removed to Greenville.  Mr. Soult was born in Clearfield county, October 19, 1841, the son of Michael and Hannah Hoover Soult, who settled on a farm in Delaware, Crawford County in 1864.  David, the third of eleven children, left Greenville and engaged in the oil business in which he was very successful.  He was married January 6, 1869 to Miss Nannie G. English of Fairview township, and went to housekeeping in Titusville.  In 1876 he went West and the following year he settled in Meadville.  In the spring of 1878 he went to Greenville and built a residence on Columbia avenue where he resided until his death. Four children were born of whom tow are living, Edwin Earl of Johnstown and Edson Carl of Aspinwall.  He was a member of the First M.E. church and a man of high standing in the community.  Mr. Soult was a cousin of Aaron Peters and A.J. Graham, and Zachariah Hoover of Clearfield; H.H. Peters of Graham, and H.T. Peters, of Reynoldsville.  He was a highly respected man and his death came as a shock to his friends in Clearfield.
