LUCIEN BLOOM, Ex., Clearfield, Pa., Miller & Hartswick, Attys Obituary from Clearfield Progress of Clearfield County, PA, dated 8 Feb 1923: Mrs. Zachariah Bloom died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, Lucien Bloom, in Pike township after a short illness, at the advanced age of 77 years, 8 months and a few days. Deceased had spent most of the days of her long life on the homestead farm. Her maiden name was Charlotte Marshall. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon services being conducted in the Centre church. Mrs. Bloom is survived by six daughters and two sons. Obituary from Clearfield Progress of Clearfield County, PA, dated 6 Feb 1923: MRS CHARLOTTE BLOOM DIES - Mrs. Charlotte Bloom, aged 78, died at her home in the Bailey settlement late today. Hooven at 418 Spruce street was the scene of a very pretty wedding at 3 ovely gown of white silk net and carried a shower bouquet of brides roses. The attendants were Mrs. A.K. Owens, sister of the bride, and Miss Edna Wolford, cousin of the bride. A.K. Owens and William Carr were the grooms attendants. Mildred Owens, niece of the bride, was ring bearer, the beautiful ring ceremony being performed by Rev. William W. Hartman, pastor of Trinity Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Ronald Roseberry played the wedding march. The out of town guests were Miss Edna Walford of Waterloo, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. A.K. Owens and family of DuBois; Mrs. Sawyer Carr and Mrs. Charlotte Bloom of Curwensville. Following an elaborate course dinner Mr. and Mrs. Boal left on the Pennsylvania train east for New York city.
