                   Individual's obituary found in the Clearfiield Progress Newspaper, Clearfield Co, PA, dated 17 Jun 1929:
MRS IRA STEVENS nee Rella Lowder died at her home in Mineral Springs on June 9th, the result of cancer. She was the daughter of Levi and Mary Lowder and was born in Boggs Township in 1871, making her age at death 57 years, 6 months and 19 days.  In 1891 she was united in marriage to Joel Wolstencroft who preceded her to the grave 32 years ago.  In 1907 she was united in marriage to Ira Stevens, who survives with two daughters by her former marriage, Mrs. James Kyler of Mineral Springs and Mrs. Patrick Kelly of Clearfield; also two brothers, George Lowder of Woodland and Amos Lowder of Colorado.  She was a true and loving wife and motherand was loved and respected by all who knew her.  She will be missed by all in her community.  She was a member of the U.B. Church at Woodland and was a devoted christian at the time of her death.  Interment was made in Bradford Cemetery.
