Clearfield Progress 13 Mar 1971, pg 10 MINERAL SPRINGS - Merrill E. (Granny) Wisor, 53, of Mineral Springs was pronounced dead-on-arrival at the Clearfield Hospital yesterday at 4:15 p.m. He was born May 11, 1917, at Mineral Springs, a son of Fred and Malissa (Druggs) Wisor. He was married to the former Bernice Wisor, who survives, as do these children: Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Lytle, Guam; Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Pry, Barry and Mrs. Charles (Hope) Casher, all of Woodland; and Hershel, Herman, Crystal, Patrick and Beth Ann all at home. These brothers and sister also survive: Mrs. Bufford (Irene) Smith, Bessie Wisor, Mrs. Nancy Peters, Homer, Cleve and Frederick, all of Mineral Springs; and Robert, Woodland. His parents, one brother and two sisters precede him in death. Mr. Wisor was a member of the Woodland Lions Club, the B-J-W Fire Co. and past president of the County Baseball League. He also was a member of the Bile Tabernacle Church of Mineral Springs. Funeral service will be announced Monday.
