STILL ACTIVE - Despite the fact that she has passed her 84th birthday, Mrs. Emma Druggs Wisor, above, of Woodland, is still a relatively active woman. She still goes shopping and is able to keep house while her son and daughter-in-law work. When weather permits, she also enjoys attending services at the Woodland Evangelical Unite Brethren Church of which she is a member. Mrs. Wisor can point with pride to her large family for she is the mother of 13 children, nine of whom are living. She also has 35 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Her children include: Jesse, Charles, Foster, Dorse, Mrs. Cora Peters, Mrs. Bessie Smeal, Mrs. Bearl Rogers and Carl, all of Woodland; and Mrs. William Coulter of Clearfield. Her husband Alfred Wisor died in February 1915. The above picture was taken during the celebration of Mrs. Wisor's 84th birthday held at the home of her son Dorse Wisor. She received many gifts and congratulations on the occasion.
