George W. Lansberry, 85, of Clearfield R.D. 2, died yesterday in the Clearfield Hospital.  He was born in Sandy Ridge, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lansberry.  Mr. Lansberry was married to the former Flora E. Barger who died May 26, 1972.  He is survived by five children: Glenn of Lebanon; John A. of Clearfield R.D.; Mrs. Doyle (Flora) Kanouff of North Tonawanda, n.Y.; Grant of Clearfield R.D. 2; and Mrs. Robert Buterbaugh of Hillsdale.  Also surviving are a half brohter, Orville Lansberry of Gordon, Neb.; a half sister, Mrs. Walter Kerstetter of Fleming; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lansberry was preceded in death by three daughters, Edna, Iva and Mrs. Frances Jordan.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home in Clearfield with the Rev. Ralph S. Krouse officiating.  Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, R.D.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Friday until time of service Saturday.

HONORED AT ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. George Lansberry were honored on the 62nd wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Clear Haven Saturday.  The event was attended by 37 relatives.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Lansberry are guests at Clear Haven.  He will be 84 on March 29 and Mrs. Lansberry 81 on May 6.  The couple was married Feb. 16, 1910 in Clymer.  Mrs. Lansberry is the former Flora Barger of Clearfield.  Their children are Glenn, Lebanon; John and Grant, Clearfield R.D. 2; Mrs. Doyle (Beatrice) Kanouff, North Tonawanda, N.Y.; and Mrs. Robert (Erma) Buterbaugh, Hillsdale, Pa.  There are 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.  Two children are deceased.

Clearfield Couple to Mark 58th Anniversary - Mr. and Mrs. George W. Lansberry of Clearfield R.D. 2 will mark their 58th wedding anniversary tomorrow and invite their friends and relatives to attend an open house in their home from noon until 9 p.m.  Mrs. Lansberry is the former Flora Barger of Clearfield and she and her husband are both lifelong residents of the Clearfield area.  They have six living children:  John Lansberry, Glen Lansberry, Mrs. Beatrice Kanouff, Mrs. Frances Jordon, Mrs. Erma Butterbaugh and Grant Lansberry.  Two daughters are deceased.  They also have 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  They could was married at Clymer, Feb. 16 by Squire Davis.  The couple's daughter Mrs. Jordon will mark her birthdate Sunday.

Flora E. Lansberry, 81, Clearfield died this morning at 1:30 a.m. at the Clearfield Hospital.  She was born in Emlenton, May 6, 1891, the daughter of the late Grant and Ella Carns Barger.  Mrs. Lansberry is survived by her husband, George and these children:  Glenn, Lebanon, Pa.; John and Grant E., Clearfield; Mrs. Flora V. Kanouff, North Tonawanda, N.Y.; Mrs. Erma Buterbaugh, Hillsdale, Pa.; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Irene Bouche, Palm Bay, Fla.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Ezra Barger and three daughers, Frances, Edna and Iva.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Nicholson Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Cramer officiating.  Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and until the hour of services Tuesday.

DOYLE, Tenn. - Ezra Barger of Doyle, Tenn.  Brother of Mrs. Flora Lansberry of Clearfield died yesterday in the Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tenn.  He is survived by Mrs. Lansberry; another sister, Mrs. Irene Elting of Newark, N.J.; and several counsins, including William Carns, Otis Carns, Frank Shipley and Ashley Shaw all of Clearfield.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Doyle.
