Notes:
                   Enlisted in August of 1862  and was in Compnay H 84th Reg Illinois Vols Inf in the Cival War.  Recieved a wound at the battle of Perryville Kentucky in Oct. 1862 which eventually caused his death (although this would have been 24 years later).  Supposedly a prisoner of war in the infamous Andersonville prison.  Supposedly wounded by a poison spear which damaged his heart??

Immagrated from Holland where he was a school teacher.
