                   RESEARCH NOTE:
Sources dispute the ancestry of Jacob Brandenburg.  Some place him as the son of Wilhelm H Brandenburg, of Berlin, while others place him as the son of Alexander Harry Brandenburg.  The dates for the Wilhelm connection seem to be too close, and have some problems, the Alexander line has been taken, although further research may further clarify this issue.
