Research from Ancestry World Tree:
"It is possible that Ananias married second Nancy Caple or Capple. Nancy Collins would be in her 50s for her last three children. He may have been born in Delaware (1830 OH census and LDS) ancestral file or NJ.Said to be son of John Baynum (son of Bartholomew and Elloner).ALL SPECULATION?Refer to John BaynumRefer to William Bevins BainumAnanias is included to give him his due. He probably is grandchildof Bartholomew and Elloner Banum. He could be son of John.Remember: Bart & Ellner had 3 other sons and 4 daughters.Later research points to Levi Bainum as being Ananias' father.Hezekiah, Ananias, Isaac, Greer, and Levi (father) appearclosely in tax records. It is reported that he had 22 children. His 32 acre Section 32 of Seneca Twp, Monroe County became Marion Twp, Noble County about 1830.He served under Capt Paynter Frames Co in the War of 1812"

"Farmed near Stafford,OH, took care of his father after his mother died. Buriedin row 36,grave H54.Mother would have been over 50 years old at his birth?Ananias is said to have also married a Nancy Caple/Capple.A daughter of Levi Hargus Bainum stated in a letter in 1906that her grandmother's maiden was Caple not Collins? Alsostated in letter was the thought that the surname (Hargus)was Nancy Caple's mother's maiden name? This would explain the birth of 2 or 3 children in whichwould have made Nancy Collins in hers 50's at theirbirth.Row 36, Grave H54 Stafford Cemetery, Franklin Twp, Monroe Co, OH1850 United States Federal Census > Ohio > Monroe > BethelFarmer"
