                   LOUISE THIESSEN, "KENWORTHYS MARRY", 1990, PG 207; Capt. George Drake was a
    man of considerable prominence in the Colony, serving as a member of the
    General Assembly from 1684-1692. (NJ)  In 1684 he was a member, with Gov.
    Lawrie of the Committe to treat the rights of the citizens of Piscataway. He
    was one of the signers of the petition to the King which asked for the
    apointment of a more effecient Governor.  He married twice, the name of his
    first wife is unknown.
