Judge Samuel b 1735 PA, d 25 SEP 1817 Danville, KY; First Judge in KY District
     Court held in Harrodsburg, 3 MAR 1783; s/o John McDowell and Magdalena Wood.
John d 1742 Rockbridge Co., VA; m. Magdalena in 1734; to America with father,
     Ephraim McDowell and settled on Burden's Grant. Killed by indians.  After
     his death, Magdalena married Benjamin Burden, Jr
