2 booklets from the Augustan Soc. Torrance CA; "Francis Makemie (c1658-1708)"
    and "The Daughter of Francis Makemie" both reprinted from the Colonial
    Genealogist, say Rev. Francis Makemie had only 2 girls. One never married, the
    other married 3 times, but left no issue. Any Makemie connection with Stockton
    must be through one of his brothers, Robert or John Makemie. They came to US
    c1683. In 1684 he was on Matchatank Crk, Accomack Co., VA.

    daughter of John and Margaret (Breckinridge) Makemie. John who died in 1766
     was related to Rev. Francis Makie. The Rev Makemie had no sons, so
     relationship must be through his brothers, Robert or John.
