Anthony CHAMNESS

                   dAVIS: A QUAKER FAMILY, PG 896; m2 Rachel Haworth 1 SEP 1766; m3 Margaret
     Williams, 9 MAY 1776, both are widows; Anthony Chamness came to America in
1724 at 15 years old, from White Chappell, Middlesex, Eng. as an indentured
servant.  He and Sarah Cole lived in Baltimore and Frederick counties, MD until
c1748. They went to Monocacy MD MM to Fairfax MM, VA to Carver
s Crk MM Bladen Co., NC and finally to Cane Creek MM in 1751.
