     graduated from Lafayette College, NJ in 1905; taught one year at the
Friend's Academy, Locust Valley, NY; then to Wall Street, where he was quite
successful. At the time of his death, he managed the brokerage house of Harvey
Fisk & Son. His death certificate says he died of acute alcoholism. Secondary
cause is listed as Heart attack. Son-in-law Clifford H. Neilson remembers that
in anticipation of Prohibition, he purchased a liquor store and moved the
contents to his basement.
