    Jeremiah deeded 1/2 of his lands in Providence, RI, and in CT to his son
James, and the other half to his son-in-law, Jeremiah Weeden. His will, dated
13 JUN 1728, was proved 3 FEB 1729 in Newport. In a codicil, Jeremiah mentioned
children of his deceased daughter and son. Jeremiah's wife, Ann, was possibly
the d/o John and Margaret Audley of his sister.  John Audley or Oldin was an
armorer or cutler in Boston.  Jeremiah was a freeman in 1666, deputy governor
from Newport 1696-1705, and ordained a deacon in 1701 in the 2nd Baptist
Church, Newport, RI, where his brother James was pastor.
