     Around 1890, Mary Ann Wood's daughter, Ciola, married to Charles Thomas
Nail, 1858-1944, who came from Jacksonville, OR and homesteaded the 160 acres
adjoining the north side of the Wood Homestead.  There were 7 children in the
family: Maud 1885-1928, Evertt Rankin, 1887-1909, Willie Winter, 1889-1981,
Mary Eva, 1894-1971, Joyce Aline (my mother), 1896, Charles Roland, 1899-1919,
and Perry Vivian, 1904-1979.
