"He was seven years of age when both his parents were drowned in the Molalla River while trying to cross on their way to church. After his parents were drowned, he appears in the 1870 Clackamas County census--with his sister--living with R.N., & Emerine Worsham in Beaver Creek, Oregon."
Edwin married Mary L. Morris on February 22, 1881 in Clackamas County, Oregon. They were living in Carus, Oregon in 1904."
He is buried in the Zion Cemetery at Canby, Oregon."
