                   Father, Thomas Croyle's will of 1788 in Bedford County lists most of his children including George.  George was a blacksmith and worked with his brother, Thomas, in shop on Forbes Rd. and he was a farmer also. He served in Revolutionary War.  He came to Bedford County in 1752 and owned 400 A. at Dutch Corners.

BIRTH: date estimated from Birth of first son; Mr. W. Croyle claims it is 1743 according to a Stoever Record he saw but does not have a copy of nor  have I found it.
