Humphrey was a Seaman, he lived in Kittery, Cape Porpoise & Saco, York, Maine; His Parentage is still not proven, some ascribe him to a Richard, others to John Scammons & Elizabeth Tailor.  He does fit in that family but does not appear in the British IGI under that family.

BIRTH:age 87 in 1727.
