History of Stone County Missouri. Published by the Stone County Historical
Society. Article "Johann Henrich SEITZ", by Richard (Fritz) Toler. "The name is spelled variously, FELTSINGER, FELDSINGER, FELTZINGER, and
FELSINGER...Andres FENSINGER was born in Germany around 1678 in the Palatinate (Pfalz). It is not certain which one of the two Palatinates he was from. He migrated to the USA in 1738 with his son'in'law, Johann Henrich SEITZ. After arriving in Philadelphia, nothing has been found to tell about Andres. His death is listed as 1766. There is an Andrew FELSINGER listed in the 1790 census of Pennsylvania, but this is at best a descendant, possibly a son. From 1800 on there are no more FELSINGERs to be found in the census records."

"Cagle Family in the South to 1850, Vol. 1: North Carolina" Andrew FELSINGER will, dated 8 July 1766, Will Book 1, p. 31. My godson Andreas L4 - 1 suit of clothes that I wore on Sunday and 4 shirts. My daughter Dorothea the wife of John Henry SEITZ now residing in the province of North Carolina - 20s. Also 20s to her husband John Henry SEITZ. If her husband is dead according to a letter from her, then Dorothea shall have an equal part and share with the rest of my lawful issue (my grandson Andreas excepted). All the rest of my goods except those above mentioned to be divided amongst the lawful issue of my said daughter Dorothea as shall survive me in equal parts when they become 21 or on the day of marriage. Ex. son-in-law Christopher WAGGONER, Esq, of Lower Saucon Twp. Witnesses: Valentin Opp, Godfreyd RICHTOR." Codicil Dec 1767: "What I gave to my wife is in lieu of her dowry and includes the bond of L66 now in the hands of Christopher WAGGONER, Esq, being money which said Anna Margaretha his wife brought to me at the time of her marriage..."

from Paul Stanley Seitz, 1215 Rider Ave, Salinas, CA 93905: "Andrew Felsinger, age 51, & son-in-law Johann H. Seitz, age 26, arrived in Philadelphia, PA 16 Sep 1738 on board the "Queen Elizabeth."
