lived Ryan & Terral, Jefferson Co, OK. Was a cowboy as a young man. He worked on "old man Sugden's" ranch and met many colorful characters including Bat Masterson, Luke Short, and the Dalton boys. He owned a farm six miles east of Hwy 81 between Ryan and Terral, called the Grove. He was very active all his life, even chopping cotton when he was 81 years old. He died in his sleep.
