on 10 Sep 1868,. . . There were born to this happy couple eight children--five
boys and three girls, of whom five are still living.  These are D.G. BLEVINS,
Mountain view, AR; B. BLEVINS, Uvalde;  Owen A. BLEVINS, Post City, TX; Ewen
BLEVINS, Pliladelphis, PA, and Mrs. John W. TAYLOR of Uvalde. . .  Two of the
children, a boy and a girl, died in infancy, and one daughter died at the age
of 24 years. . ."
