Notes:
                   His birth mother was Maria Seeley and his birth father was William Buse.  Both William and Maria died in 1963. On his death certificate, Norman Bruce lists his mother as Maudie Simms, birthplace Scotland and his father as Robert Bruce, birthplace Scotland.  I think this little five year old boy was adopted by Robert and Maudie Bruce.  This is why his name is now Bruce.  Family talk is that Robert Bruce was a beekeeper.  I know from Daddy (Ray Bruce) that Charles Robert Bruce kept bees on his rance.  Shirley Gerdes knows that he died on the old homeplace in Townsend, Montana.  Charles was a smelterman.
