                   Married at age 21 in Farmington, Utah on 11 Feb 1909 to John Taylor.  Film: 025888, Licence #1170.  Her name is Clara Francis Syphus.

Married John Taylor of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah in the presence of Elizabeth Abbott and John W. Workman. In Farmington, Utah by L.H. Oviatt The Justice of the Peace. Clara is age 21 and John is age 22.  (Believed to have come down from Idaho and gotten married in Utah)

Temple work Ref: H000145-1400. Parents were living at this time.  884344-884346.

Talked to her on this date and and she gave me a little information which I will add to the family files.  She stated that Myrtle Louise Syphus Timpson was married to Alma William Timpson and they lived in Los Angeles, CA all of their married life.  They did not have children.  She was called "Aunt Myrt" and her husband was called "Uncle Will".

Letter sent with this obituary dated May 18, 1992 from Bud T. Cahoon.
"Regarding your letter about Myrtle Syphus Timpson.  I know very little about Aunt Myrt and Uncle Will.  They were married 24 Nov. 1910 before I was born.  They lived in California most of their lives.  I have been in the place they lived in California; they did not own a home they rented all their married lives.
It is my understanding that before Aunt Myrt passed away it was necessary to put her in a nursing home.  She had a niece in the Los Angeles area who took care of the details of putting her in the nursing home and also the details of her burial when she died.  I assume her niece received all of her personal property which would have consisted of household furnishings.  I do not know the
nieces name or where she lives.  I was living in New Jersey at the time of her death.  Am enclosing copies of hers and Uncle Wills Memorial services notices as well as a Timpson Family Group Sheet.  Am also enclosing an early picture of them.

Marriage at Farmington, Davis Co., Utah to Paul Civish.  Both are listed as being from Pocatello, Bannock Co., Idaho.  Married by L. H. Oviatt on 22 April 1913.  She signed that she was of legal age to get married and he did too.
Later divorsed.  I think the legal age in Idaho must have been higher and so they came to Utah to get married.
She signed her marriage licence as Lottie Syphus of Pocatello, Idaho.

Have found no family connection of Edith to David Grey or his wife. Edith may be working there as day help???

2) Edith Syphus, age 18, born in Utah living in Salt Lake City, Utah living at
     Lester Court # 3 with her mother and a step-father.
