Isaac C ROUTH

                   He was a younger brother of Jacob Routh.
       Issac was living in Jacob's household at the time of the 1790 censusand moved to Tennessee with other members of the family about 1791.
       According to Ross Routh in his book "Routh Family Revisited",Issac's (1772) sons remained ormigrated to the following places:
       *Jacob and Hezekiah moved to Missouri.
       *Jonathan and Issac first moved to Illinois.
       *Johnathan later moved to Texas and Issac went to Missouri.
       John, Hugh C. and Levin also moved to Missouri.
*Hugh C. and Levin then moved to Texas following Jonathan.
       *William Jeremiah married in Tennessee, then moved to Missouri butleft there for California with a group of 49ers. He was never heard ofagain. His widow later moved with her sons to Indiana an later to Iowa.
       John Routh began to spell his name Ruth instead of Routh after goingto Missouri.
       Steven Was the Administrator of his father's estate.
