Susan Hardeman was raised and educated in Williamson County. She was born 25 Jul 1810, south of Franklin in Williamson County, TNN. She married James M. Dotson 2 Oct 1832. After James died, Susan married John Grimes. Their marrige bond is dated 11 Nov 1858 and was issued in Dickson Co. John was born 15 Jan 1807 and he died 14 July 1876.
