Endowment reconfirmed and all former sealings ratified for Edward Dalton on 6 August 1968.
She was always referred to as 'Meda' by her sister and known as 'Aunt Meda'. Some of the children called her 'Aunt Mead'. Emeline Alice Dalton Brown, Almeda's sister, called her "Meda" but she was usually refered to as Aunt "Meed", by my mother Emeline Bernice Brown Pollei. My mother said she was not sure where Aunt "Meed" died but thought it may have been in Montebello, California.
Emeline Alice Dalton Brown was buried 30 October 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was visiting in Georgia with her daughter and son-in-law, Bernice Brown Pollei and Fred Pollei. They had come to Georgia to visit their two married daughters, Julia Pollei O'Brien and Glennis Pollei Waltman, who were both living in the Atlanta area at the time. Grandma Brown suffered a heart attach when boarding an airplane to return to Salt Lake City. She spent several days in the hospital and then was released to spend some time at Glennis and Ralph"s apartment where she suffered a second heart attach and died one week from the day of the first attach.
